Snow blankets the road

Like a warm winter coat 

Silence fills the sky 

As each snowflake dances by

There’s a peace in the chill 

A quiet that makes me want to be still 

To be still and know 

That there is always hope 

Hope for the future

Hope for the now

Hope in knowing that everything will be okay somehow 

Like a heart finds its rhythm,

Like a voice finds its song, 

Like the snow finds its angel,

Hope is coming before long
